The Kids had a BLAST at the CVHS Football game, it was CHILLY but we did enough cheering and dancing to keep warm and cheery!

Last "DAY" of Summer!

Break out the SQUIRT GUNS....Go out, while the SUN'S Blazin'!

We have been working on HOUSE projects like CRAZY (you can see some of the hard work in the pics/videos of our backyard changes)...so this past Friday we decided to have a little good old fashioned fun in our backyard.  It was the last day of summer and actually SUPER warm so the kids wanted to play with the squirt guns/super soakers, but I thought it might be more fun to make a GAME out of it instead of just squirting each other which usually means someone ends up in tears (Fiona.)  I was actually pretty impressed how 'INTO' the creating and playing process the kids got.  I, myself, couldn't resist getting in on the action and wanted a turn in the FUN as well!   The videos are hard to see but the birdies INSISTED I share them as well!

Last Summer Vacay....Lake Raystown...A Stones Throw Away!

Well, in keeping with my theme of summer vacations this pretty much sums up my feelings perfectly-----

So with this in mind...Master Flick really has tried his hardest to accommodate me--- he even took the kids camping on his own, but we still wanted to do one last family trip before the school year begins.  He happened to find a deal close to Raystown Lake.  We both had been to Raystown but never together or with our birdies! So when he told me he found a hotel deal I SAID, "YES, LET'S DO IT!"  Our room was surprisingly SWEET, STYLISH, & CLEAN!
